Sparkwave Detailing (“we”) is a mobile car detailing business in Langley, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and your choices, in line with BC’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
- Quote requests: your name, phone number, email (optional), vehicle, area, where you’d like the detail done, preferred date and any notes you add.
- Calls and texts: your phone number and the messages you send us.
- Bookings: the address where we detail your vehicle, and payment records.
- Website visits: basic, non-identifying information such as pages viewed and the device and browser you use (see Cookies below).
How we use it
Only to prepare your quote, schedule and complete your detail, contact you about your booking, keep business and tax records, and understand how people find our website. We never sell or rent your information.
Who we share it with
- Web3Forms delivers quote requests from the website to our email.
- Netlify hosts this website.
- Google provides our email, Google Analytics and Google Ads, which help us see how visitors use the site and which ads lead to quote requests.
These providers only process information to provide their service to us, and some of them store data outside Canada.
Cookies
This website uses cookies from Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure visits and ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad personalization in your Google account’s ad settings. The site works fine without them.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and booking details only as long as we need them for your service and for our business and tax records, then delete them.
Photos
Before and after photos we share online show the vehicle only, with licence plates hidden. Ask us any time and we’ll remove a photo of your vehicle.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email sparkwave.detailing@gmail.com or call (236) 880-4417, and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
